Several enhancements have already been completed for the 2026 season. These include upgraded security and internet service, the addition of dedicated co-working spaces, onsite chair storage for members, a new volleyball net and refreshed court area, and expanded outdoor recreation options such as ping pong, Connect Four, and cornhole. In addition, changing rooms will receive energy-efficient upgrades and routine preventative maintenance to ensure the facility is safe, modern, and ready for the season.
-
The Code of Conduct can be found here. All persons entering the facility are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner and to comply with all posted rules, staff instructions, and applicable Borough policies. Compliance with these regulations ensures a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all members of the Madison Community Pool community.
Additional pool policies are currently under review and will be published prior to the start of the season in mid- to late spring. Once finalized, they will be posted here and shared with members who have registered.
-

The senior membership rate was established following a careful review of comparable community pools and recreational facilities throughout the region. In setting this rate, the Board analyzed pricing structures, facility size, anticipated usage, and the planned expansion of senior-focused programming to ensure the cost remains fair, competitive, and sustainable.
-
The Pool Advisory Board is actively working to secure a vendor for the 2026 season. Our goal is to bring in an operator who will offer a wide selection of family-friendly, pool-appropriate food and beverage options. We expect the snack shack to be up and running by Memorial Day weekend.
-
No. The Madison Community Pool Kids Camp will not be offered during the 2026 season.
In keeping with our commitment to transparency and responsible stewardship, we believe it is necessary to pause the program for one year to focus on stabilizing overall pool operations. This was not an easy decision. Many of our Advisory Board members have personally experienced the camp’s value, having sent their own children, and we strongly believe in its potential and importance.
However, if our goal is operational transparency and fiscal responsibility, a temporary pause is the most prudent course. During this time, we will assess and strengthen the pool’s operational foundation with the hope of reinstating the Kids Camp for the 2027 season. We greatly appreciate the community’s understanding as we work toward the long-term sustainability of the Madison Pool.
-
For the 2026 season, the Masters Swim Membership category has been discontinued.
However, early morning lap swim will continue to be offered and is available to all members with an active Madison Community Pool membership.
Lap swim lanes will also remain available throughout the day during regular operating hours, in accordance with the daily pool schedule.
We remain committed to providing dedicated space and time for lap swimmers while balancing the needs of all pool patrons.
-
Yes, swim lessons will continue. Swim lessons will be conducted under the supervision of our pool management, ensuring they are offered safely and professionally. Registration for swim lessons will take place later this spring.
-
Yes. All schedules, including lap swim and swim team events, will be posted clearly and consistently both at the pool and online. Our goal is to make availability easy to understand in advance so members can plan their visits without frustration.
-
The ability for a 10-year-old to attend the pool independently is a privilege extended by the pool, not the standard or intended use of membership. It is designed to offer families limited flexibility, not to position 10- and 11-year-olds as primary, unsupervised users of the facility.
In short, independent access at age 10 is permitted but not encouraged as the sole means of pool access, and the membership rates are structured to align with typical developmental readiness, usage patterns, and supervision needs.
-
